8/7/08 - I can't believe it's August already! I'm really sorry that I haven't updated since May, but real life got in the way... I have added a new Palpatine Photoshop painting in the Fanart section. Please go take a look at it. By the way, I'll be on another little hiatus for a couple of weeks. I'll see what I can't do went I come back online. I know that the 3D Clone Wars is coming out on the 15th, so I'll be going to that, certainly. I hope you are all geared up for that event. 5/31/08 - I know y'all wanna kill me, but I've been busy lately. Anyway, I've fixed the blue/purple borders around the HOME button and Fan Stuff. I've also added a new section to this site called My Other Love. Please go and check it out! I hope you're into that kind of thing. Most people don't like the music bands that their parents listened to. But I'm a self-proclaimed freak, so I will admit that I like love the Beatles... It probably won't be updated as often as this site, what with it being ALL my writings for them. But keep a lookout just in case... There's also a link to it on my Links page, down at the very bottom...

 

4/26/08 - Whoo! Long time, no update. I've fixed everything so that the Fan Section is up with all the stuff that was originally here. In other words, I've gotten rid of the "oops." I hope that you dig the layout that I posted last time I had updated. And I know that there may be a blue or purple box around the "Fan Stuff" and "Home" buttons on the menu, but I can't get rid of it. FrontPage won't let me. (Bah!) Anyway, please feel free to send me your fanfiction and poetry and whatnot. I would be anxious to hear from you. I also realize that I put up a project on the Project page that I didn't put there before. I meant to put it up on my Webshots page. 1/20/08 - Sorry it took so long to update. New layout! I trust you had a good holiday and New Year. I've been working on PITD 3 lately, so maybe I'll have it done by the summer. I go back to school on the 24th, so there will be a lot of work to do and I won't be able to update much. But I'm going to play it by ear and see what happens, 'kay? Thanks for being so patient...

11/24/07 - Been a week since I last updated. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! I also hope you didn't get stuffed to the point of popping a pants button and look like Jabba the Hutt. Anyway, my birthday is coming up on Monday. I'll be 22. (I think I already have gray hairs. Getting old is definitely not for sissies.) Yeah, so now I have a new holiday wallpaper. Here 'tis:

11/17/07 - Wow! What a day! Super Megafest here and gone already! Anyway I updated the Gallery again with a new pic of me at the event... I also updated the Projects page! Go take a look!

 

11/15/07 - Sorry again. I've put up a new picture in the Gallery of "Darth Deady in Star Bores" by the singer Voltaire. I've also got new material on the Projects page for the Endor poncho. I sewed the entire poncho in one evening! And that's not easy considering I'm not that great a seamstress... And it turned out okay. I hope you all had a safe Halloween and got some great tooth-rotting candy! Next on our list of holidays is Thanksgiving and then (drum roll please...) Balanced Force Day! My birthday is also coming up on the 26th of this month. I'll be 22 and have been a Star Wars fan since the summer of 2005... Not that long considering other people. By the way, I've been working hard on PITD 3, so, maybe it'll be done by the time my school gets out: sometime in May, if I have the time to work on it with all the classes and homework and tests and projects and papers...etc... etc... 10/30/07 - Sorry about not updating in a while. Things to do, people to meet. Anyway, I made this here new Halloween wallpaper. It's of Planet Jack-O-Lantern and the Giant Pentagram ship ; )  (I'm Wiccan as you know, so that's why the paper looks "weird.") Anyway, I'll probably have a new project coming up soon. I have an Endor donut thing coming in the mail, and I'll be working on Orillia's Endor uniform for Super Megafest 2007 which is on the 17th and 18th of November. I won't have any costume for Halloween this year (darn) but I hope to have the poncho and helmet done by Super Megafest. Happy Halloween/ Samhain everybody! Go out and get some candy. And for Force sakes, be careful!

 

10/7/07 - I made a new affie banner. It's a new one to match the current layout. Also a (really terrible-looking) new Halloween wallpaper featuring Luke, Han, and Chewie...

 

 

9/21/07 - I added the Gallery. No more "oops!" (I have yet to render the content of the Cantina...) I'm still working on PITD 3, so, if you're waiting to read about Luke and Orillia's adventure on Bakura, y'all need to wait a while. Schoolwork gets in the way a lot, what with having to read 30 to 50 pages a night in two different English classes. In case you're wondering, I'm an English major with a concentration in creative writing; I need a lot of study time and writing time. Anyway, please enjoy what I've got so far on the new look for my site! I hope to accomplish great things in the next few months. I've also got Orillia's Endor outfit in the planning stages, so hopefully, I'll be able to have that done by Super MegaFest 2007. It's in mid-November and Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett in Episodes V and VI) and Ray Park (Darth Maul) are both supposed to be there during that weekend (17th and 18th, I think...) I plan on going with some friends and getting both of the actors' autographs. I hope the line there doesn't stretch all the way across the country. Last year, I almost didn't get to see Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian in Episodes V and VI.) Anyroad, the date of completion for the Endor outfit is completely and utterly dependent on if I get that Endor Donut with which to make the helmet. I already have the AN-H-15 summer flight helmet in a size Large (the army surplus store I bought it from only has Medium and Large; no Xtra Large.) I also have the material for the cheek leathers. I'll keep you posted and update the Projects page when I get something done, 'kay? Darkstar, out!

 

9/17/07 - I fixed the links. I think I got all of them. Anyway, I added new fanart to the Non-Slash Art page, put up an award I got a looong time ago, added things to the Humour page (by the way, one of the pictures there has spelling and grammar mistakes; anyone who can find all of those mistakes will get a prize!), I added a new ADULT doll to my Dollz page (you have to click an extra link on that page to see it, though), I fixed links on the Links page and added new ones, and I fixed my Projects page. If there are still any weird links, please let me know...

9/15/07 - Man, I haven't updated since April! Well, no need to fear, the new site is here! I created this layout after someone on the old site posted a message in my message box on the homepage saying that the layout wasn't original enough. Well, I hope you like this layout. I worked hard on switching hosts and my domain name is now under gate.com. I can work on my site from my computer now in FrontPage and SmartFTP Client, so I don't even have to log in at FreeWebs anymore for this! I'm happy now. In other news, I moved the updates to this front page as you can see... And I have a cool entry page now! Please update your bookmarks to orilliadarkstar.com, as I will be getting rid of my FreeWebs account... And in other other news, I added a few new dollz to the Dollz page and a couple of new filks to the Filk Songs page. School is here again, so I will be very busy while I try to succeed in doing both schoolwork and my pending fanfiction story: A Puddle In The Dust III: End Of Sands. (Many thanks to Nova of Love Luke for the subtitle). The title is actually a little misleading. It does not mean that I will forever be done writing about Luke and Orillia's adventures. No, far from that... It may be the end of the PITD trilogy, but it's just the beginning of their new life together as Jedi. Sorry that this update message is so long, but I wanted to let you know what was going on in my life that I wasn't able to update before. Thank you to everyone who has been so patient!

 

4/15/07 - I'm sorry about not updating in a while...more schoolwork issues. Anyway, I added a new filk song. It's called "Star Wars" and features Luke thinking and fighting while he's on the second Death Star. Go and see it!

 

3/23/07 - I realize I haven't updated in almost a month, but I've been having difficulties with schoolwork. I found something interesting. Like last time, I'm in need of a subtitle for PITD 3, which won't be completed for quite some time, as I just started back at school after the long holiday break, so I need YOU to help me come up with one. I can make it a contest if you like. The winner will receive an award to display on their site and/or their name, e-mail, and site link on this page and the main page of PITD 3 (which, as I said before, will be based on the novel The Truce At Bakura.) 1/22/07 - I have completed A Puddle In The Dust II: The Puddle Expands. Expect it up by this coming weekend. I'm at once pleased and disappointed that I finished it. It was a joy to work on. But now, I get to rewrite The Truce At Bakura to fit my character's story... It will be entitled A Puddle In The Dust III, with a subtitle that I have not yet thought of. If anyone has a suggestion for the subtitle for this part of my PITD trilogy, please e-mail me. 12/1/06 - Wow! I haven't updated in a month! Anyway, I just wanted to say that I made a new holiday themed front page. You can download the wallpaper to your computer if you want. I didn't get to make the Jedi costume for Super Megafest, but I DID wear the costume I wore for Halloween. Lots of people liked it. I got my picture taken with a couple of members from 501st Legion New England Garrison while I was there. I'll get the picture up here as soon as I can. It was soooo cool there at Super Megafest! I got to meet Billy Dee Williams too! I wrote a blog about my experience so you can see it here. I've been really happy lately and have been working on PITD2. 10/30/06 - I finished the boots today! So I can go as my character for Halloween... I hope to do more projects in the near or very near future, since Super Megafest is coming on November 18th. The Rebel Legion will be there and I want to give them a good impression so that I can join. I'm still working on the second PITD, but I hope to have it done by New Year's. 3/14/06 - I finished writing my first fanfiction story called A Puddle In The Dust. I'm sad. It has taken me forever to write that story and I've enjoyed working on it. Now it's all over!
